A new Ultrarunning Documentary - Profiling HURT

HURT stands for the Hawaiian Ultra Running Team. In January each year they host the HURT 100, a gruelling 100 mile race in the mountains of Oahu. Profiling HURT is a documentary following some of the competitors in the months building up to the event, and of course in the event itself. Ultrarunners are not normal people. Are they superhumans, or just severely maladjusted? This film offers some insights into the motivation and trauma involved in such an extreme event. Put together with an awesome soundtrack and some great camera work through the Hawaiian jungle, it does well to promote the ultrarunning profile.
